Okay, this might be a little confusing..
First of all, there are two sites, actionscript.org and actionscript.com.
Actionscript.org is the one I intended to go to and knew but I ended up at actionscript.com by mistake and thought that actionscript.org had changed their layout because the last time I’d been there (ages ago), it looked totally different. Anyhow, actionscript.com is pretty nice too.
So I was the first to comment on their opinion towards the lighter side, “When Flash Was (Still) Sexy”. What was annoying was the fact that when I saw my comment published later , I saw a modified version of what I had stated.
They do state in a note below their “Add a Comment” form which says that all comments are moderated and will be sub-edited before publishing. However, this note falls below the ‘Submit’ button which I failed to see earlier and only came to know later when I saw my modified comment and then went on to find out why it had happened.
I would suggest increasing the visibility of this note by placing it above the ‘Submit’ button or textarea and maybe further differentiate it from the rest of the elements by highlighting it in a different color. Since it’s below the ‘Submit’ button and is not differentiated in any way, the user (like me ) might overlook it presuming it to be (in my case!) a “Tags allowed” message or something of that sort.

Sorry about the confustion in the comments. We’ve changed this policy, and only edit comments to remove Spam and to help people who don’t speak English natively.
I’m glad you liked the site! Hope to see you there again

I’m glad to hear of the change in policy.
I keep dropping by actionscript.com all the time. Good stuff.
